We are happy to invite you to a REBO Open Science Event on Thursday January 15th, from 10.00 to 13.00, lunch included. The aim is to connect researchers, to discuss Open Science and Open Research, and to learn from each other and to exchange ideas between researchers from different disciplines.

10:00 -10.15 A brief introduction to open science + Q&A ,
10.15 – 11.00 Panel discussions on scientific independence in commissioned research; and digital autonomy in academic research
11.00 Coffee/tea break
11.15 – 12.30 A conversation within the framework of “Scholars in the public arena”: the limits to academic freedom in the evaluation process that can arise from the degree of control exercised by the responsible agency. How should academics navigate such situations?
12.30 – 13.00: Lunch
