Comments: My PhD project focuses on the behaviour and welfare of (grey) parrots, specifically on foraging and feeding. Our team has developed a new foraging enrichment, and its effect on behaviour and welfare is being tested. This includes both behavioural observations and tests, and physiological measurements. My background is in behavioural biology (MSc degree), and I’d like to learn more about all subjects that are relevant for my PhD – including labwork.
